Week 9,10,11 - Word of the Week Aloooha!!

 

Good-bye Sestra Call!

Look! I simplified my life in a tiny little way and made an acronym thingy for word of the week, isn't that so cute??

Alright, my dear family and friends, it's finally time. When reading this email perhaps a few of you may think, "oh yeah, Sister Call, what has she been doing with her life? Wasn't she suppose to go to Czech Republic or something?" THEREFORE: my visa has not come so I'm headed to Hawaii bright and early tomorrow morning until it does!! Hence, my aloha word :) The reply I always get to this statement is: you're life is so hard right now. Yes, in fact, it is. I hate pineapple.

Jokes, haha, I love pineapple (not a huge coconut fan tho).

The past two weeks since MTC ended have been wonderful. I've been able to buy a lot of things that I super procrastinated on, buy a lot of things I didn't even think about thanks to my Grandma who came to visit, and spend a lot of extra time with my family. :) Family is the absolute best, aren't they? Please. Everybody. Go up to someone you love, give them a big "Aloha" and a hug. Thanks :)

I am so excited to be able to start this next adventure and meet new people and serve as much as I can. I know that Jesus Christ is real. I love Him with all my heart. I love all of you wherever you may be and I hope you have a wonderful week filled with moments of joy 💛 "O Lord, and do not be angry with thy servant because of [her] weakness before thee; for [I] know that thou art holy...nevertheless, O Lord, thou hast given [me] a commandment that [I] must call upon thee, that from thee [I] may receive according to [my] desires". That's from Ether 3:2 in The Book of Mormon. The brother of Jared has just molten those sixteen stones and is offering them to the Lord and asking for His help. I changed a bunch of pronouns because I felt like it applied to me. Sometimes I feel so weak, you know? I feel like the difficult tasks ahead of me are bound to fall to pieces when I try to shape them. But, when I remember WHO God is, and that He has the power to accomplish anything through these imperfect humans He has to work with, and I remember to call on Him and rely on Him everyday, my efforts are enough. I'll be keeping that scripture close to my heart. God is so good, my friends.
