Ok, this holiday is probably almost my favorite. Thanksgiving and Valentines Day are so close, almost tied.
I know that love is the most beautiful and powerful emotion.
The history of valentines day is a priest who continued to marry men and woman even when the Roman leader forbade young men to get married because they made "better soldiers". Eventually he was found out and killed. This is a pretty sadly poetic story. But, what's better is the other story that this reminded me of. the story of Jesus Christ, of course :)
He came and taught people who were living in the lowest of lows. And He loved every single human being with unconditional love. And He made a sacrifice for each one of us and died for me and you. That sounds like the truest love to me.
I know God loves me and loves each person I meet, no matter what they look like or say, whether they want to talk to me about God or not, they all still are loved just as much as I am. I know He loves the friends we're teaching so, so much. Please, try and share a little more of that unconditional love with people around you this week π
We got 10 new missionaries in the Czech Republic!! They were waiting for their visas around the US and all came at the same time!!!! Two sister missionaries came and one of them is Sister Hagbergs new companion and the other one is my new companion, Sister Zernzach πππ she's from Alaska and I love her very much.
I hope you have moments of joy through your whole week.
With big time love,
