Week 32 WoTW: I. πŸ’›. You.

Ok, this holiday is probably almost my favorite. Thanksgiving and Valentines Day are so close, almost tied.

I know that love is the most beautiful and powerful emotion.
The history of valentines day is a priest who continued to marry men and woman even when the Roman leader forbade young men to get married because they made "better soldiers". Eventually he was found out and killed. This is a pretty sadly poetic story. But, what's better is the other story that this reminded me of. the story of Jesus Christ, of course :)
He came and taught people who were living in the lowest of lows. And He loved every single human being with unconditional love. And He made a sacrifice for each one of us and died for me and you. That sounds like the truest love to me.
I know God loves me and loves each person I meet, no matter what they look like or say, whether they want to talk to me about God or not, they all still are loved just as much as I am. I know He loves the friends we're teaching so, so much. Please, try and share a little more of that unconditional love with people around you this week πŸ’—
We got 10 new missionaries in the Czech Republic!! They were waiting for their visas around the US and all came at the same time!!!! Two sister missionaries came and one of them is Sister Hagbergs new companion and the other one is my new companion, Sister Zernzach πŸ˜ŠπŸŒžπŸ’› she's from Alaska and I love her very much.
I hope you have moments of joy through your whole week.
With big time love,
Sestra
P.s. today is SISTER JOHNSON'S BIRTHDAY!!!! (MY MTC companion 😭) born on the day of love and I have so much love for that human being πŸ’›
P.s.s. I'm pretty sure I saw every Czech citizen walking around with a little bouquet of flowers today and it was very tender and sweet to see πŸ‘€πŸ˜Š

Week 31 WotW: T-i-m-i-n-g

Happy, happy, happy Monday to each and every single one of you reading this right now in this very moment πŸ˜€πŸ˜Š❤

Commence the thoughts on timing...
So, we have this amazing friend named Aneta. She is amazing. Period. She has come to church consistently for about a year now and writes down every spiritual prompting She receives during lessons or church in a notebook and I am kind of in awe of her, honestly. We have been praying and praying about her concerns about baptism and planned two weeks ago to commit her to a specific date...she didn't feel that excited or committed but said she would pray about it. Ok, we were bummed. We made this awesome plan and were showing Heavenly Father She was so ready and then we were sitting there thinking, "what is going on. She is already so prepared. Why isn't this happening right now."
Yesterday she comes to church and says to us that she read Mosiah 18 in the Book of Mormon and had a powerful experience and knows she wants to be baptized.
Wow.
So here's my thought: The Lord is trying to teach me that things are not about me. And that life is on His timetable and not mine. And that miracles happen even when we think they're not happening.
Second timing moment I just have to share. Last Sunday on the metro on the way to church, Sister Hagberg and I sat down next to a woman and started talking to her. We asked her how she was doing today and she started to cry a little bit.
It was one of those moments where we barely said a word but it felt like the Spirit was speaking to everybody in the conversation at the same time. She reached out and touched our hands and thanked us for asking. Sister Hagberg whips out her phone and asks her for contact information and immediately she's like, "yes, sure!" But then her station comes and she's telling us these numbers as she's getting up and leaving and we didn't even get the correct ones written down. We called and called a bunch of different numbers and none of them were right.
Yesterday we're running late and rush onto the metro and sit down. Right there across from us, is Ε arka, the woman. I could not even believe it. She was so happy to see us and talk and give us her number and agree to meet.
If we hadn't have run late, we would've missed her. We could've sat in any metro car and in any seat of the train but we sat in the ones across from her.
I know the Lord's timing is perfect and He's aware of every detail of our lives. I love Him with all my heart and I'm so grateful to be a missionary.
I hope your week is filled with moments of joy :)
With all my love,
Sestra Call

Week 30 WOTW : I can't even think of one, I'm sorry :)

 Hello:)

This was such a wonderful week, everyone πŸ˜ŠπŸ€— I hope you had a super good one, too.
It's funny that when I go back to review my weeks now, I hardly remember anything specific we did I just know it was amazing.
Just for your information, my goals and quest for better prayers went well :) especially in the last two days I had some really good talks with my Heavenly Father and I quite enjoyed it.
I wish you could meet the fantastic human beings that I've met here, I just can't properly describe them to you in words in a simple email. Someday I hope we can sit down and have a chat and I can tell you a little about each of them.
For now, here's one little piece of one friend from this week:
our friend AlΕΎbΔ›ta, is the most incredible and prepared person. She already knows that the gospel is true and is ready to do anything she needs to, to change and be baptized. I love her. It's an honor to be a part of her story. We've been meeting with her twice a week for the past three weeks and flying through lessons. It feels like we're doing nothing though, because the Lord has touched her heart so much more than we ever could.
I love being a missionary with every fiber of my being!!!
I hope you have a fantastic week that is filled with moments of joy.
Love, Sestra Call

Denis gave me dark chocolate and olives(I asked him if this was a normal gift and he said no...🀷‍♀️) for my birthday. He is the best!!

I'm so sorry, I have gotten so bad at taking photos so this features some photos I took of Sister Hagberg the last few days, out and about on our journeys through Prague.
