Week 7 & 8 Word of the Week: Tearful

 AHOJ!

If any of you know me really well, you shouldn't be surprised by this word...you knew it would be coming...I cry all the time...mostly when I'm happy, don't worry :)

1) Over the past couple weeks my family has been watching The Chosen together. I FULLY ENDORSE THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE.

The Chosen, whatever you've heard about it, is amazing. And it's free. So, yes. It's made me cry multiple times because of the loving and tender way that Christ interacts with the sick and broken people He helps. It's exactly how I imagine Him talking to me.

2) Abigail gave me a facial (she's into skin care) on Tuesday night after I had a rough evening. She is such an example to me of service even when it's hard, even when the person we're serving is grumpy :)

3) THE TEMPLE IS OPEN!!! I live really close to the temple here and I've been praying it would open so I could go back and IT DID. Me and my parents went twice this week and it was the most beautiful experience I've had all month. I find so much perspective there, so much peace.

BONUS EXPERIENCE

Sestra Johnson and I were supposed to teach a practice lesson to one of my teachers, right? Well, maybe ten minutes before that Johnson gets her flight plans to Czechia!!! And then we get in a breakout room and she tells me there's a family emergency going on, too. Obviously, there was a lot going on in her mind and heart, but somehow we taught a lesson about faith to our teacher in Czech and our teacher said it was actually really good. I know that miracles are real. I know that God is present in our lives because He loves us more than we can even imagine. I know I'm just an imperfect me, but He can fill in the gaps. I don't know how but I know He can and He does.

I love each and every one of you, seriously. Please appreciate those moments where you see His presence in your lives :) Have the best week!!

Love, Sestra Call

dress up over zooomm, i made a presentation about body parts in Czech. Lord of the Rings style. Pretty proud of myself honestly. I made a kahoot and everything :)

Week 5 & 6 Word of the week: Yummy

Dear Everyone :) my lovely family and friends.

How are you doing? You know, really. Something that always sort of drives me crazy is how we all know the socially acceptable answer is, "Yeah, I'm good, how are you?", and most of the times I'm sure a lot of us aren't that good, or aren't just good. So how are you REALLY?

That was a tangent :)

Yummy moments from the past two weeks:
1) Abigail (little sister) and I made a bunch of amazing food while my parents were gone for a wedding. Curry, Pad Thai, Chef Salad. (peak the picture of fried veggies down below) It was 200% because of her food talent

2) Hyrum (lil bro) made some no-bake cookies last night that were amaaazing. I ate three even though everyone was only supposed to have one

BONUS MOMENT/Actually even better than yummy moments.
Me and Sestra Johnson were practicing teaching a lesson about Jesus and life after death (in Czech) to one of our teachers and I asked her how her parents taught her lessons as she grew up. And she said, "krok za krokem", which means, step by step. I've been thinking a lot about that ever since she said it. I love that the bible talks about how Christ grew step by step, principle by principle, just as we have to. Sometimes I wish I spoke fluent Czech right this moment, or sometimes I wish that I was the perfect teacher, and sometimes I wish I just wasn't so imperfect at everything haha. But, then I think of "krok za krokem". I can become better, step by step, and I know that's how life is meant to be. I am grateful every single day that Christ experienced all the steps of life. He is the best example and it makes me so happy sometimes I just literally CANT EXPRESS IT CLEARLY ENOUGH TO YOU! :) Take life step by step this week, whoever you are. I love you!

Love, Sestra Call

I don't know what order they come in but! pretty daisies for my Grandma's birthday, food ft. abigail, the coolest, most blessed, glorious august day that was somehow 67 degrees

Week 3 & 4 Word of the Week: Hehe

(This is Mom: so we had our Fox Family Reunion this week, if you look closely on the stairs, you will see Sestra Call.  Yes, a perk of at-home MTC, she was able to participate in some of the activities.)

Ahoj my family and my friends :) HERE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I WANT TO SAY IN CASE YOU DON'T HAVE TIME OR WANT TO READ THE REST OF THIS: my younger sister Abigail came back from summer girls camp today and it made me very happy because I missed her. ALSO, the real thing I wanted to say is every time I get upset or discouraged or tired and I choose to refocus myself on Christ and how much He loves me, everything gets even the smallest bit easier. It's literally like magic and it's crazy because I forget it all the time or think it's not about Jesus but it works. I love Him :)

Hehe moments from this week:

1) Sestra Johnson and I spent probably cumulatively (grammar?) 7 hours laughing this week. Everytime we video call or even are sitting in zoom class and feel like we're "making eye contact", it's kind of over. In a good way :) She's the best mission buddy and makes me happy. I find it's so much easier to laugh my way through my mistakes in language or learning or whatever, rather than crying a lot more.

Not that I'm not still crying all the time because I'm happy and love talking about God but anyways. Moving on.

2) I have a goal to drink a big thermoflask sized water bottle every day and I did a great job except for yesterday I hardly drank any (hehe) and I felt deeehydrated. I felt the difference, friends. Please drink water. Je duležity. It's important :)

3) I got a temporary reassignment!! Which is where I'll go temporarily if my Visa to Czech Republic doesn't go through as soon as September. So I'll be there till it goes through. My reassignment is to Honolulu, Hawaii!! Which is where my grandparents served a mission about a year ago, which is absolutely not a coincidence. Heavenly Father knows me and loves me. Also, Hawaii...I mean...I will not be upset if I get to go :)

I'm grateful to be where I am. I'm grateful for all of you and hope you're finding pieces of joy in each day. I promise God is good. So so good. Or dobry (good in Czech).

With so much love,
Sestra Call

No pictures, but many apologies for their absence. (Mom is including Pictures)

(This picture was taken on Grandma's lawn by Emmalyn Leavitt's drone camera. Can you tell that it is the outline of a Fox? Emmalyn is Sestra Call's cousin And DON'T even try to look for Sestra Call in this photo, she is there though!)

Week 77

Hello :) This last week was wonderful. To say it shortly and simply.... We met this woman named Kristina and she started talking about que...
