MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
I need to be honest. Sitting at the computer on p-day for emails is really difficult. It's the one day where I'm sort of free from the sitting and 'computering' BUT I love each and every one of YOU. So, here I am. Not that you need an email to be happy, but anyways. Now at least you know I'm alive :)
It's technically only been a week and a half of missionary training, but my teachers are calling it the end of week two so I guess: First two weeks finished!
1) My companion, designated missionary buddy, Sestra Johnson, is a blessing in my life. She is from Columbia, Missouri, and is so funny and relatable. She sincerely has strengths where I'm weak and I'm so grateful I'm learning with her.
2) I haven't sustained any bum sores!! The Lord is seriously protecting me. After the first day of seven hours of zoom my bum was so sore and I HONESTLY was not sure if I could make it through the next nine weeks in my chair.
3) The Lord is aware of me. And He's aware of what I can become through my missionary service. There have already been lots of hard moments where there's so much to learn in so little time and I sit there thinking to myself, "are you sure I can really do this well?". And He says to me (well, more like I feel some peace and imagine this is what He's saying) "you are enough. I love you. I'm going to make up the difference." Then life moves forward :) I love Jesus and I know through Him all things are possible.
Have yourself a merry little weekend! In two of my classes so far we've sang Christmas songs together and I just don't have the energy to be mad about it anymore :)
All my love, Sestra Call
I don't know if they're in the right order but
my missionary class decided to all bring sunglasses to saturday classes
a time capsule I made like seven years ago that I found under my bed! Shoutout to Karinna who made it with me :)
